Donna, if you haven't changed the name of your blog from the Velvet Cage to the Gilded Cage in one month's time, I'll personally send you another pair of sweatpants! :)) Trust me, after a while Dr Phil, can sound very sanctimonious and you'll wonder why he hasn't seriously considered hair implants.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding. Enjoy it! You deserve a break.
Ooh, nice! Jealousy :) And happy for you :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a divine day. I am very very envious. Especially after the hellish commute I had last night.... A commute from the bedroom to the upstairs office would be wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'd have gotten rid of the work thing. But that's just me. :oP
ReplyDeleteYay for enjoying your life! I hope you do get to get used to it! (And what music are you downloading these days?)
ReplyDeleteSounds like the ideal day! I wish I could work from home!
ReplyDeleteYou won't go back. Promise. I've been flying solo for 8 years - it's da bomb. And personally, I find I am way more productive. I work with minimum interruptions, office politics and sometime even in my knickers. Shhh, don't tell!
ReplyDeleteOooh yeah, that's the life right there.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT'S what I am talking about. Kick ass. I wish my day had been like that.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful way to work, Donna, I'm definitely jealous. Even though I only work 10 minutes from work, there's an awful lot of b.s. and wasted time, meetings, committees, etc.
ReplyDeleteSounds like bliss! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled for you, a teeny bit jealous of you, but absolutely thrilled for you.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get a job like that? Sounds heavenly.
ReplyDeleteMost excellent! I like the sound of that day. :)
ReplyDeletevery nice! I think I could get used to that, too.
